Through aging treatment, its mechanical properties can be significantly improved while maintaining excellent conductivity and thermal conductivity. The typical composition range is: copper content ≥ 99.5%, iron content 0.05%~0.15%, phosphorus content 0.02%~0.05%, and the rest are trace impurities. Description

Copper alloys for lead frames can be roughly divided into copper iron series, copper nickel silicon series, copper chromium series, copper nickel tin series (JK-2 alloy), etc. Ternary, quaternary and other multicomponent copper alloys can achieve better performance and lower cost than traditional binary alloys. Copper iron series alloys have many brand numbers, good mechanical strength, stress relaxation resistance and low creep resistance, making them a good type of lead frame material. Among them, C19400 and C19700, which are widely used in copper iron alloys, are mainly strip materials in China. C19700 copper alloy combines high strength and high conductivity, with a tensile strength of over 600MPa and a conductivity maintained at around 80% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard), far exceeding ordinary copper. After aging treatment, its hardness (HV) can reach 200-250, and its wear resistance is significantly better than that of pure copper. At the same time, it has excellent corrosion resistance and stress relaxation resistance.
